# Language Flash > Language Flash is a spaced repetition app built on the SM-2 algorithm — the same scheduling Anki uses. It generates vocabulary, phrases and conjugation drills in 13 languages, so your review queue fills itself instead of you building decks by hand. Language Flash is a spaced repetition (SRS) app for language learners, available on the web, iOS and Android. It uses the SM-2 algorithm — the same scheduling family Anki popularised — and generates its own vocabulary, phrase and drill content so learners do not have to build decks by hand. ## What makes it different - **The deck fills itself.** Name a theme and the app generates vocabulary or phrases in the target language with glosses in the learner's own language. - **Real SM-2 scheduling.** Ease factor starts at 2.50; Again applies −0.20, Hard −0.15, Easy +0.15, with a hard floor at 1.30. Intervals run 1 day, then 6 days, then interval × ease. Each grade button displays the interval it will produce before it is pressed. - **Marked drills, not just flashcards.** Conjugation drills generate fill-in- the-blank sentences and mark each answer, distinguishing a wrong form from a correct word with a missing accent. Grammar sets are pitched at CEFR levels A1–C2. - **Writing feedback.** Learners write diary entries in the target language and receive corrections, explanations and an improved version. - **Photo vocabulary.** A photograph is analysed and its objects named in the target language. ## Languages supported - Spanish (Español, `es`): https://languageflash.app/learn/spanish - French (Français, `fr`): https://languageflash.app/learn/french - German (Deutsch, `de`): https://languageflash.app/learn/german - Italian (Italiano, `it`): https://languageflash.app/learn/italian - Portuguese (Português, `pt`): https://languageflash.app/learn/portuguese - Japanese (日本語, `ja`): https://languageflash.app/learn/japanese - Chinese (中文, `zh`): https://languageflash.app/learn/chinese - Korean (한국어, `ko`): https://languageflash.app/learn/korean - Arabic (العربية, `ar`): https://languageflash.app/learn/arabic - Russian (Русский, `ru`): https://languageflash.app/learn/russian - Dutch (Nederlands, `nl`): https://languageflash.app/learn/dutch - Turkish (Türkçe, `tr`): https://languageflash.app/learn/turkish - Hindi (हिन्दी, `hi`): https://languageflash.app/learn/hindi Conjugation drills are available for Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Dutch, Turkish and Hindi. No card required. - **Premium** — $4.99/month or $39.99/year. Unlimited cards, conjugation and grammar drills, diary feedback, photo vocabulary, generated verb lists. ## Guides - [What is spaced repetition, and why does it work?](https://languageflash.app/guides/spaced-repetition): Spaced repetition schedules reviews at widening intervals, just before you would forget. Anki remains the better choice for any other subject, for users who want full control over their scheduler, or for anyone who needs offline desktop study. ## Contact Published by Language Flash.
